I'm a bit miffed about the article saying he's traveling on his own dime, and then stating that any surplus donated will actually go to the villages (once his travel expenses are paid off.) Or did I read that wrong?
I'm just stunned by this story though. In this day and age, where is their government, where is their homeland support? I know they weren't speaking out much until now, but from the article it seems that the powers that be were aware of this coming.
