So. I have a crapload of drilled coyote teeth, and two wolf (c. laniger, I believe) teeth, that I'm making into pendants. The quality of my laptop camera is shit, but I tried to make a comparison. The wolf tooth is the one with the red bead, the coyote with the brown. Beads are wood, the thong is cotton (or hemp in the same size/color will also be used).

My question is, would anyone be interested in these, should I decide to vend them at Thresholds? I am thinking, at least half the proceeds for the coyote teeth, and all the proceeds for the two wolf teeth will go to the Defenders of Wildlife to offset the Northern Rockies/ Yellowstone wolf lawsuit. I'm thinking around $10 - $15 for the coyote teeth, $20 for the wolf? Is this reasonable? I've honestly never really sold anything before, especially not anything I've made.

Any feedback, especially from people attending the event, would be appreciated.

Hey, that's a pretty good idea! What would you suggest for starting price then, should I choose to try this? You have more experience with selling things than I do, lol.

I'm really excited about this overall, and I'm glad you like them. I tried to weave a little Canine Mojo into them as I was making them, and currently they're chillin on my small altar with Wepwawet standing over them.

If you're going to do the silent auction, I would start the wolf necklaces at the same or just a little higher price than the coyote necklaces--so if you sell the coyotes for $10, maybe start the wolf auction at $12 to $15. You might also print out a sheet of info on the Defenders to put with the auction to let people know where their money would be going if they won.

I definitely think you should keep up with the shiny object creation :)

*grin* Thanks, I certainly will.

And that's some really sound advice, thank you. I can also bring some of my books, print off some information, give people something they can look at and learn from, as well as know where the money is going to and how they can help.
